Drywall screw is a specialized type of self-tapping screw. They have a sharp point to pierce through drywall, and a coarse thread design to help grab into wood studs. It is the standard fastener for securing full or partial sheets of drywall to wall studs or ceiling joists.
Use for most woodworking jobs and materials of woods, need pre-drilled hole for hard wood to avoid split.
